The goal for IBIS Technology is to develop one integrated software system that works in key areas of the tourism industry, including activity operators, attraction businesses, transport operators, ticketing agencies and tour planning businesses. This approach gives users a flexible platform that delivers functionality at a higher quality and lower cost than if separate components were custom developed for each client.

IBIS's intention is to continually refine, enhance, and innovate its product to ensure we utilise the latest tools and technology. In large part, new functionality is incorporated based on feedback from users. New features are evaluated, ranked, and prioritised for development into the system and released to all users in accordance with their support agreements.

If you require a new feature, submit your idea to IBIS. IBIS will evaluate the request and endeavour to provide it in a generic way so that it is of use to other users.  An estimated release date will be provided for general availability. If this date is acceptable the new feature will be added to the overall system and there will be no additional cost.

There are two cases where additional development may incur extra charges to the requester:

  1. If the requested feature is unique to the requester, and not applicable to other current or potential users
  2. If the timeframe and need are more immediate than our specified release date, and the customer requests an expedited development cycle. (Subject to availability of development resources).

In consideration of any custom development, IBIS will maintain ownership of all intellectual property of the software.  Even in cases where a customer supplies IBIS with an idea for the system and IBIS chooses to develop the idea into a product, this idea then becomes the intellectual property of IBIS. IBIS will then determine if it is applicable to other users as a generic part of the system.
