Configure admission ticket printing for Point of sale

The thermal voucher will print admission tickets in conjunction with the IBIS POS receipt. To enable admission ticket printing after an admission ticket is purchased at Point of sale, configure the following:

  1. Open the Machine Settings screen under the System menu.
  2. Under the Printing group, select your Admission voucher layout type:
    • Gate - prints a scannable custom ticket designed to be used with our gate scanning application.
    • Thermal voucher/event ticket - prints our generic thermal admission ticket with a barcode designed to be validated at Point of sale.
  3. In the Admission Voucher printer (POS) list, select your preferred printer from the list.
  4. Click Save.

Restrict ticket printing for groups

IBIS allows you to control ticket printing for groups. This is useful when a large number of customers are entering your venue, and you do not wish to print/validate a ticket for each individual.

  1. Open the System Setting screen under the System menu.
  2. In the Printing section, specify the number of tickets purchased in a single transaction you wish to trigger the group ticket prompt.
  3. Save your changes.

  4. When the number of admission items in the Point of Sale transaction is greater than the Group Ticket Prompt setting, IBIS will ask the user whether to print a single ticket.
