Service utilisation report

The Service utilisation report looks at the total spaces available vs booked and provides you with the capacity utilisation as a percentage. It gives you an overall understanding of how many seats are available and how many you've actually filled - historically and into the future. Looking at many services side by side, we can see which departures are more popular on certain dates and times.

This report includes INACTIVE services by default. Exclude this status if you do not want to see these.
  1. From the Operations menu, open the Service utilisation report.
  2. Select your date range by clicking the calendar icon, then click Refresh.
  3. Now you will see the auto-populated report on your screen.
  4. To customise the report view, drag and drop which fields you want to report on.
  5. Select Export and choose one of the Excel file types (.xlxs or .xls)
  6. We recommend you save this report view so it's easy to find next time!

Analyse driver and/or vehicle usage

Another useful feature of the Service utilisation report is the ability to analyse the number of departures you have assigned to drivers or vehicles. You can also view/record information stored in the Departure note field on the Specific availability screen, such as a departure cancellation reason. Simply right-click any field to show the hidden fields for driver, resource (i.e. vehicle) and departure note to add these to your view.

Interested in recording a driver/guide, vehicle or departure note? Set up your vehicles or guides in the Resource setup screen and allocate them to departures in the Specific Availability screen by clicking on the > row indicator cell. The departure note field can also be shown by default on this screen. Contact IBIS support for assistance.

Option analysis report

This report allows you to analyse pax counts across services and departure times. It does not contain any financial data, so it can be used as a type of manifest if desired. Ensure if you want to count pax, that you are viewing PLACES and not UNITS.

You can add hidden fields to view drivers/guides, resources, and departure notes applied in the Specific Availability screen to this report.
