You can install customer-facing pole or till screens at your point of sale stations. These displays are especially useful in retail or café environments, allowing customers to see the items being added to a sale and their prices in real time.
Set-up instructions
In Windows
Go to Settings > System > Display.
Plug in the customer-facing screen and ensure it is the last display in the sequence.
E.g. if you have two displays, the customer screen should be Display 2; if you have three, it should be Display 3.
Go to Settings > Personalisation > Taskbar.
Click Taskbar behaviours.
Untick Show my taskbar on all displays to prevent the taskbar from appearing on the customer screen.
In IBIS
Open Machine Settings.
Under the Point of Sale section, set Customer-facing POS display to True.
Launch POS and check that the customer display opens correctly and is not obstructed.
If you’re using a high-DPI screen, set the Customer-facing POS scaling size to
0.8
.The customer display will open automatically when you launch POS or start a new sale, and will close when POS is closed or the sale is completed.
