Payment for multiple tickets using the customer ticket screen

When all your tickets have been added to your Customer File and you are ready to take payment:

  1. Open the customer file in the Customer Ticket screen.
  2. Click To POS to take payment for all tickets (you can use the CTRL + Click function to highlight selected tickets). For customers using POS plus, you will see the customer panel appear to the left of the POS screen automatically displaying your customer information.
  3. Take payment as normal. When the payment is complete, you will return to the Customer Ticket screen and tickets will begin printing in travel date order.

Take a partial payment for a ticket

Full payment must be taken to complete a Point of Sale transaction. If you only want to pay for part of the ticket, use the Custom Amount to POS option found under the More... button on the Ticketing screen. This allows you to specify the amount you wish to pay in a single POS transaction. A voucher will not print automatically until a Ticket is paid in full.

Alternatively, you can change the amount at POS by entering a dollar sign ($) in the input box to launch the sell price pop-up and change the price there. Or change by entering the new price straight in the input box (e.g. "$50").

View payment details on a ticket

The payment details for a ticket are displayed in the bottom section of the Ticketing screen. This section will be blank if no payment has been made. By ticking the show account detail box (circled red below) you can see details on what has been charged to the operator's account.

Confirm a referral ticket using the wizard

Before you can invoice the operator for your commission, you need to confirm with them if the pax turned up or not. This is generally done once a month, prior to starting your invoicing process.

To bypass the confirmation step, configure the Global Settings to auto-confirm referrals which will generate the accounting records as soon as the ticket is saved

To confirm referrals individually:

  1. Use the Un-confirmed referrals tab on the Find ticket screen to see a list of tickets that need to be confirmed.
  2. Open the referral ticket in the Ticketing screen by clicking the > row indicator cell.
  3. From the Ticketing screen, select the Confirm referral wizard under the More... button.
  4. Follow the prompts to confirm or cancel the ticket. Call the operator to check if the ticket person travelled or not.
  5. When the wizard is complete, a private note will be added to the ticket with the confirmation details and the ticket status will change to confirmed.
  6. The ticket will now appear in the Ticket reconciliation report and the Invoices screen ready to generate into an invoice.

Confirm referrals in bulk

If you have a lot of referral tickets to confirm each month, you can use the advanced ticketing functions on the Find Sale screen to make quick work of this process. Be aware that the confirmation details will not display in the Private note field if using this process.

  1. Open the Find Ticket screen.
  2. From the unconfirmed referral tab, highlight all tickets.
  3. Right-click the Refresh button, select Confirm selected referrals and generate book account records
